Progress!
Here as promised is a progress piccie of my latest on-the-needles project. Can you tell what it is yet? No? Ah well, maybe you'll get it next time when I post some more progress!
I've decided to make more progress with my knitting this year- I'm going to try colour work, and lace knitting. I've already done circular and cables)
One project I'd like to do is a sweater, though it will have to be for me as my no one I know will wear knitwear!
I've given up on trying to knit socks for now- I just can't get past 'turning the heel', it boggles the brain! Plus, I don't find much specific sock yarn where I live.
My tatting is currently going well- I'm currently making butterflies, and lots of them, and I attend the meet ups of the local tatting group as often as I can which is nice.
Until next time, happy crafting!

Sorry!
I know, I know, I've been a bad blogger! So sorry for the long gap- what can I say, a lot of life got in the way at the start of the year- I'm sure you know how it is sometimes. Only now are things starting to settle down a little again.
So, what have I been doing craft-wise in all this time? A quick run down-
I knitted a gaiter for a friend's birthday- I enjoyed doing this, as it was my first successful circular project. I think it turned out well, and I hope it keeps my friend's neck warm!
Then I've made a scarf for a friend in Canada- the yarn made me think of blossoming flowers, which was nice.
Plus, I've made a nice little shrug for myself- it's lovely and soft, and is made from Knit Picks yarn that was sent to me last year by my friend Kaydee.
Lastly, here is a little Snow White dress I custom-made for the beautiful little two year old daughter of some great friends-
I got some yarn this week for a new knitting project, which I have now got on the needles. I promise that I'll post some pictures soon, when there's a bit more to show.
Happy Crafting!
